Wow...another round of 'Makan Tour' with my friends who are labelled as 'Cari Makan Gang' :)
On Saturday night, since my friend just reach Penang at midnight on Friday, so getting busy for his training in the Morning, then rest awhile, then we had dinner together at Saturday night at James Foo Steak house.
Quite nice environment~ Dark and noisy a bit...very good business~
Thanks to James as the tour guide for my friend. I can save my energy driving and just sit behind the car. James Foo western food restaurant is located at Tanjong Tokong, James and Ming Zhi brought me and my KL friend, Kim Yung along. Virginia was having a dinner at Traders Hotel with her Law firm colleagues. That's why we all just heading to town and tour around for food. The James Foo restaurant has quite nice environment and very good business. Their price are reasonable cheap and quality of food is not bad for trying.
This was my Grilled chicken with Black pepper sauce ^^ RM7
Before the western food, James was suggesting me a coconut jelly that is very cooling at nice near the GAMA and Dato Keramat road. Unluckily that the shop was closed at night. The next round after the western food was the prawn mee and ABC ais kacang at "Sa Tiao Lou" (三条路) near the Guang Hua newspaper factory.
Everyone was 80% full stomach, yet we are proceeding for next round to the Kimberly street from "Kuey Chap", again maybe due the 九皇爷诞 season, a lot of shops were closed or rest. So, we ended up eating the Fried Kuey Teow and Tao Fu Fa.
Still, Virginia had not done yet for the ball dinner, so while waiting, we all sat in a Dim Sum restaurant to wait for her call. James brought out his tea leaves 佛手, really nice taste~ We all were 110% full, too full...but since we were sitting in the shop, so I just simply ordered 1 plate of dim sum. Seriously funny, sitting for 1 hour with 1 plate of dim sum and 1 tea pot...All ONLY RM3.20 for 4 person, which means only RM0.80 for each person. The funniest action that we ever done~ ^_^
Sunday morning, I brought my friend to Bayan Baru food court for the Red beans blended, "Ang Tao Ka"...then afternoon Teo Chew Cendol at Penang road, Kim Yung bought some biscuits and nutmeg for his family~ Lunch at New World park...then dinner at Jelutong market~
What an "overloaded" weekend with foods~ Need to start do my sports again to keep fit~ ^@^
Called my 'dear' (in my heart) to ask her condition and studies, hopefully she can cope with it~
Ohsaa...Jia you! You can make it!! All the best~ Take care~ Miss u~
