Penang food...long long time I'd never talk about food in my blog...let me start again to introduce some stalls...just uploaded some of my photo taken using my handphone, sorry for the poor resolutions...
This is the steamboat style 'Lok Lok' where we cook the sticked food with the boiled water...
It is the cheapest so far we find in the Penang Island...it is located at the Gat Lebuh Cecil where is inside a dark street under some apartments...It is recommended by my housemate, KL...
Next to recommend is the Hokkien Mee, so called Prawn mee (har mee) in southern Malaysia.
It is recommended by James and his gf Virginia...The mee stall opens only at night located near the Hotel Grand Continental...We can ordered some add-ons and the best they recommend me is to add the BBQ pork (烧猪肉,很脆很香) with RM1.60 additional.
This is the dessert, ABC ais-kacang nearby the mee stall, so while eating the hot Hokkien mee, you can have some cold stuffs to eat~ RM2.2/bowl with lots of my dear favourite 'atapchi' ^_^
